First of all, Lady Jingly Jones (who answers to Jingly when she answers) is no lady. I confess that my standard poodle is happiest romping in the mud puddles in the great outdoors. She thinks black goes well with her white coat. Yet I notice she is also happy when she makes her ritual visits to Jeana at the Dirty Dog Salon. It’s fun there. The dogs roam around playing with each other while waiting their turn. And Jeana knows just where she likes to be rubbed while she’s scrubbed. When Lady Jingly comes out, she actually looks like a lady. She fools everyone. People stop to admire her on the street. Who wouldn’t like all that attention?  She tells every scruffy dog she meets to head for the party at Jeana’s – that’s where the action is.
